The Baltic annual Classic Yacht Festival calendar has become a tight one since the late 1990s. Flensburg Fjord offers the ideal location for one of the highlights of the German events,  The 'Robbe & Berking Classics'. Numerous exotic guests show up from the Med, England and the USA, which makes for a lot of international communication but never detracts from the essentially family atmosphere of what remains at its heart a friendly meeting. The film makes a point of showing the 'fun' aspects of the event, which is a sort of cross between La Nioulargue and an 'Old Gaffers' festival. This is a fascinating movie made in Tom Nitsch's own back yard.
