Following the long-term success of my Yachting Monthly Coastal Skipper practical video, I have published a new YM DVD with the assistance of Raymarine to explore the safe use of electronics in small vessels under sail and power.

As you can see from the photo, The Electronic Yachtmaster is shot aboard my traditional gaff cutter. The cameraman and I are working below while my wife Ros keeps the boat on course. Surrounded by century-old timber, I’ve integrated electronics with salty, time-honoured techniques to help you shape up with confidence if your boat’s wiring ever melts down.
